Review #543 | /r/Scotch Review #193 – Compass Box Whisky Company Double Single
Bottler: Compass Box
ABV: 46% ABV
Nose: Apples, honey, vanilla, buttercream, not wildly complex and reminds me of a number of products of theirs.
Taste: Medium mouthfeel, apples, honey, faint pepper and smoke. Vanilla, caramel are big
Finish: Medium, some heat, very apple forward, paired with apricot, pepper and the faintest smoke whisp
Overall: Good but not exceptional. Unfortunately a descriptor I’m using more and more often for CB releases
